The Sacrament of Reconciliation is referred to as the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation is one of the Sacraments of Healing. A sacrament of healing through which Jesus forgives sins committed after Baptism and reconciles sinners to God and the Church. The penitent recieves God's mercy and forgiveness of sins.
"Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God's mercy for the offenses committed against him, are at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example, and by prayer labors for their conversion" (CCC1422).
Confession Times: Every Saturday 2:30 - 4:30 pm and by appointment. Also offered the first Friday of each month at 5:00 - 6:00pm.
All persons must be Baptized prior to receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession). Please contact the office or our Faith Formation Director at christie.milawski@catholicflint.org
