The Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist is the “source and summit of the Christian life” Ccc, 1324. This sacrament takes place within the Mass, the mystery of the passion, death, and resurrection of Christ is re-presented in the unbloody sacrifice of the altar. The Catholic Church professes that in Holy communion the body, blood, soul, and divinity of the glorified and risen Christ is substantially present. We ask that only “properly disposed” Catholics receive Holy Communion, meaning they are in a state of grace, having been reconciled with the Lord through Baptism and/or sacramental reconciliation.

'For, by the sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit.
"Confirmation perfects Baptismal grace; it is the sacrament which give the Holy Spirit in order to root us more deeply in the divine filiation, incorporate us more firmly in Christ, strengthen our bond with the Church." (CCC1316). The sacrament of Confirmation "imprints a spiritual mark or indelible character on the Christian soul" (CCC1317) forever connecting us to Christ and his ministry of discipleship. Giving us the gifts of the Holy Spirit 'wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel, piety, courage and fear of the Lord that enables us to live as true Christians.
